onwax.com is a cutting edge, online streaming platform utilizing Silverlight technology that enables people to watch the best action and outdoor sports films at the best quality, from any computer with a high speed internet connection.
How do I get access to onWAX.com?
Once you join as a member you have 3 choices:
1. Monthly subscription membership
2. Pay per title, On Demand
3. VIP Membership
How does the WAX monthly membership work?
Unlimited films, anytime, anywhere. With your paid subscription to WAX, you get unlimited access to over 100 Action and Outdoor Sports films across many genres.
What is a VIP Membership?
A VIP membership is an annual membership that grants the same access benefits as monthly members, PLUS access to Advance Screenings at onwax.com, special promotions such as chances to attend film launches and win WAX partner merchandise.
What if I prefer to pay per film?
That’s fine too. WAX offers all of our films, classic, current and new releases to everyone with or without a paid subscription. With our Video On Demand service, you pay as you go. It’s that simple. Simply join, and once you are a WAX member you can buy per film viewing. Prices vary depending on the film selected. Films are viewable for 48 hours after purchase. You may watch the video as many times as you wish in that 48 hour period.
What are the computer system requirements to view WAX films?
Browsers: Firefox 3.0+, Safari 4.0+, Internet Explorer 7.0+; must have cookies and javascript enabled
Hardware: PC 1GHz processor or faster with at least 512MB RAM; Mac 1.83GHz or faster processor with at least 512 MB RAM.
Operating System: Win XP SP2 / Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit); Mac: Mac OSX 10.4.8 or above.
Browser Plugins: Please install the latest version of Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight 4 or above.
Internet Connection: 512 Kbps (minimum), 1 Mbps optimal

Yes PC Users…you are welcome to the WAX world! WAX is available as long as your PC has the necessary plugins and minimum system requirements.
How many and what types of films are on WAX?
Over 100 action and outdoor sports films. Films are regularly updated to ensure there is always something fresh to watch. The films available on WAX come from the worlds of Surfing, Skateboarding, Motocross, Snowboarding, Mountain Bike, BMX, Skiing, Climbing, Kayaking, Adventuring and more.
Is there a schedule of films every month?
New films are highlighted in the “New Releases” tab on the homepage.
Will I have to watch ads?
Onwax.com is an advertiser-free zone. You will not have to watch any advertisements for other products before watching your selected films.
When I purchase a Video on Demand film, how long do I have to watch it?
All pay-per-title Video On Demand purchases are available for 48 hours from the time of purchase. You can close your browser and resume watching by returning to the video's page.
Why can’t I download to own the movies?
Download to own films will be available in the near future. So hang in there!.
Can I return a movie I purchased for a refund?
Unfortunately content purchased via WAX is not returnable after your purchase has been completed.
Why doesn’t WAX work on my iPhone or iPad?
The Silverlight experience is not available on all devices. WAX apps for iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices will be available later in 2012.
